SUMMARY:HSCC Snetterton Spring Trophy
DESCRIPTION:Held on the Snetterton 200 circuit\, the weekend concists of a 15 minute qualifying session and two 15 minute races – Qualifying and Race 1 for the Paul Hewes Trophy are on Saturday 25th April and Race 2 is on Sunday 26th. \nThe grid for both races is set by the qualifying times. \nJennifer Hewes and her family have generously arranged a party for all 500 OA competitors and their supporters  on Friday 24th commencing at 7:00 p.m. Details will be circulated nearer the time. \nSigning on will be by online declaration\, and the link will be emailed to you when the declarations are to be completed\, normally 10 days before the event. \nThe entry fee is £450 for the two races\, with payment to The 500 Owners Association Ltd.  \nIf you have not done so already please could you join the 500 Racers WhatsApp group as it is the quickest way of communicating important information. If unsure of how to do this please contact Simon Dedman who can help you. \n  \nThe 500 Owners Association Code of Conduct representative for this event is Simon Dedman. The deputy will be Richard Fuller. \nReserves and Refunds \n·         All reserve places will be held strictly in the order of receipt- i.e. “First come First Served”. \n· Should an entry slot become available\, either as part of the confirmed grid\, or as one of the 7 reserves that can take part in qualifying\, you will be notified\, at which point the full entry fee becomes payable to secure your place. \n·         A total of 45 cars can attend the event\, (38 entries and 7 reserves) and take part in qualifying. \n·         Those remaining on the reserve list that choose to take part in qualifying but cannot race because all 38 grid spots are taken after qualifying\, will get a 50% refund of their total race fee.  (mechanical failure is NOT a reason for a refund) \nTreatment of reserves in qualifying \nEntrants should examine Appendix 6 of the 2026 MSUK NCR’s\, pages 402 & 403 and in particular sections 3 & 5 that cover procedures for race qualifying including those of reserve entries. \nGeneral refund policy (Does not apply for Mallory CMMC policy will be in operation) \n100% refund of the race entry fee is applicable if a race entry is withdrawn up to the date that race entries close. There will be a qualifying session and one race over the weekend of September 19th/20th. \nWe need a minimum of 16 cars and can take up to 22.  \nThe Racer Club de France who are organising it have given us a special price and the entry fee will be £260 payable to The 500 Owners Association \nAs the registration form is in French and a little complicated entries will be through Purple Lap although additional information will be required. This will be organised once entries are in. \nA MSUK National Licence will be required to take part. \n
