SUMMARY:Castle Combe Howards Day
DESCRIPTION:Howards Day\, held on the fabulous Castle Combe Circuit\, is in celebration of the 500th race at this iconic venue\, who’s history is inextricably linked to 500’s. 500’s were there at the first major Castle Combe race in October 1950 and we have continued our association ever since\, over 70 years. \nThe 500’s are taking centre stage and will be featured in the lunch time gridwalk.  \nOur cars will all be lined up on the starting grid for the gridwalk and members of the public will be invited to come onto the circuit to look at our cars and talk to the drivers. After the gridwalk\, the cars will stay on track\, be started by the teams and then set off on their green flag lap leading to the start of their first race of the day. \nThe race day on Monday 1st April\, consists of a 15-minute qualifying session and two 15 minute races\, so a very busy and compact day. \nThe grid for both races is set by the qualifying times. \nSigning on will be by completing a declaration\, which will be emailed to you 10 days before the event. \nPlease email a photo of both sides of your 2024 competition licence to Xavier Kingsland as soon as you receive your licence xavierfkingsland@gmail.com \nThe entry fee is £385 for the two races\, with payment to The 500 Owners Association Ltd.  \n  \nThe 500 Owners Association Code of Conduct representative for this event is Xavier Kingsland.
